Leonardo Gasser (1831 – after 1892) was born in Florence in 1831.

Leonardo Gasser studied there under Michele Gordigiani and soon joined the artistic circle frequenting the Florentine Caffè Michelangiolo. Leonardo Gasser probably departed Florence in the late 1860s to live abroad.

Leonardo Gasser's works were shown at exhibitions in Turin, Milan and Genoa until 1892
